2. BUSINESS ACTIVITY

From My Backpack sells digital software products that help customers work with information that remains between exports, statements, spreadsheets and business systems.

Products are delivered electronically and accessed through From My Backpack Core.

No physical goods are shipped.

From My Backpack does not operate as:

2.1 a bank;

2.2 a payment provider;

2.3 a financial adviser;

2.4 an investment adviser;

2.5 an accounting or audit practice;

2.6 a tax adviser;

2.7 a law firm; or

2.8 a custodian of customer funds.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The original proprietary intellectual property in From My Backpack Core, Can I Spend This? and Payout Reconciler is owned by Jade Bridger and exclusively licensed to Axioma Logic (Pty) Ltd for commercial operation.

Axioma Logic (Pty) Ltd is the authorised operator and seller of the Products.

Third-party and open-source software, services, themes, fonts, platforms and trademarks remain subject to their respective ownership and licence terms.

No purchase transfers ownership of source code, product logic, branding, customer-facing design or other underlying intellectual property to the customer.

4. TRADEMARKS AND THIRD-PARTY NAMES

“From My Backpack”, “Can I Spend This?” and “Payout Reconciler” are used in connection with the Products and business.

Shopify, Cloudflare, Paystack and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.

The use of a third-party name to identify compatibility, an import format or a service provider does not imply endorsement, partnership or ownership.

5. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We take reasonable steps to ensure that Product descriptions, prices, screenshots and compatibility information are accurate.

Product pages should be read together with:

5.1 the Terms of Service;

5.2 Return and Refund Policy;

5.3 Digital Delivery Policy;

5.4 Privacy Policy; and

5.5 the order confirmation.

Screenshots and synthetic sample results illustrate the Product but do not guarantee that a customer’s own data will produce the same result.

6. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices, applicable taxes and available payment methods are displayed through Shopify checkout before the order is submitted.

Payment is processed through Shopify and the payment provider selected or displayed at checkout.

We do not directly receive or store complete payment-card information.

7. DIGITAL DELIVERY

Products are delivered electronically.

Financial source files and calculations used within From My Backpack Core are designed to remain in the customer’s browser unless a Product expressly states otherwise.

Licence verification is separate from financial records.

10. TRANSACTION RECORDS

Customers should retain their Shopify order confirmation and purchase email.

Requests concerning available order records may be sent to orders@frommybackpack.com and may require identity verification.

Records are retained according to applicable legal, tax, ecommerce, fraud-prevention and platform requirements.

11. PROFESSIONAL-ADVICE DISCLAIMER

The Products provide practical information and workflow support based on data and assumptions confirmed by the customer.

They do not provide financial, investment, accounting, audit, tax or legal advice.

Customers are responsible for verifying source data, resolving visible exceptions and obtaining professional advice where necessary.

12. CONSUMER INFORMATION

The Terms of Service, Product descriptions and store policies provide information concerning:

12.1 Product characteristics;

12.2 prices and payment;

12.3 digital delivery;

12.4 transaction records;

12.5 refunds and cooling-off rights;

12.6 privacy and security;

12.7 customer support; and

12.8 complaints.

Customers can review and correct relevant order information through Shopify checkout before submitting an order.

13. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Please provide the relevant order number, facts, requested outcome and contact details.

We will attempt to resolve complaints directly and in good faith.

A consumer may also exercise any right to approach an appropriate ombud, consumer-protection authority or court.

Axioma Logic (Pty) Ltd does not claim membership of a voluntary accreditation or alternative-dispute-resolution body unless expressly stated on this website.

14. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

By communicating with us electronically, you acknowledge that notices and records may be created and retained electronically where permitted by law.

Nothing in this clause requires a consumer to accept electronic communication where the law provides otherwise.
